Professional development beyond regular scuba instructor training |
| Whether you just want to show your non-diving
friends or relatives what you see when underwater, or you aspire to publish
underwater photos in magazines or win competitions, the PADI Underwater
Digital Photography course is a great place to start.
During this course you will learn simple techniques for getting great shots. Subjects covered include photo composition, the use of strobes, how to eliminate back-scatter and post-dive processing of images. The course comprises two parts. Part 1 is held in the classroom and a session in the pool, where basic techniques are covered in a controlled environment. Part 2 looks at the theory in more depth and puts the techniques you have learned to practice in open water (2 dives). After the dive the photos are downloaded and if necessary can undergo post dive processing using software such as Adobe Photoshop or similar. Go Dive price: £95
(with
your own camera) £120 (with camera hire)
